Meet the team
Joe Costello | Chairman and CEO
Joe Costello, the CEO of Cadence Design Systems (NASDAQ: CDNS), catapulted the company to be the world's leading EDA company and among the top 10 software corporations. Formerly recognized as North America's top-performing CEO by Chief Executive Magazine, Joe's leadership extended to board roles at companies like Oracle, Adobe, and Mercury Interactive. Joe holds Master’s Degrees in Physics from both Yale and UC Berkeley.
Dr. Larry Tarof | CTO
Dr. Larry Tarof, an industry veteran with over 30 years of technical and management experience, is instrumental in the design and fabrication process development at Inpho. His career highlights include roles as Chief Scientist at ADVA, Jabil/AOC, and Optelian/Versawave, as well as co-founding enSign and Optovation. Larry has also held senior technical roles at BNR/Nortel.
Jeff Reece | SVP Operations
Jeff Reece, a Global Senior Executive with over 30 years of experience, excels in Business Development, Account Management, Hi-Tech Manufacturing, and M&A operations across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. His leadership, strategic thinking, and solid P&L management have led to significant revenue growth. His previous role at Flex involved managing a $6B+ business unit, encompassing sales & business development, supply chain design, and manufacturing execution. He was also part of the Senior Management team at Catena Networks before its acquisition by Ciena Corp.
Jan Willem Poelmann | CRO
Jan Willem Poelmann leads Inpho’s revenue organization, deepening our focus on customers, the ecosystem partners, and the value they can derive leveraging Inpho’s unique InP technologies across various applications. Jan Willem brings a proven success record developing and executing growth strategies in high tech environments. His track record includes VP of Sales at Lumentum and VP of Global Sales at Oclaro. Prior to Oclaro, Jan Willem was the SVP Sales & Marketing at Picarro and served in various other senior leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Dell, Corvis Corporation and Nortel Networks. He received a B.A and M.B.A in business administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
Francois Tremblay | EVP Engineering, Electronics
Francois Tremblay, a Senior Technical Executive with 30+ years of experience, leads semiconductor product design, advanced communication systems, and power management solutions. As Semtech's CTO and VP of Design Engineering, he drives innovation. Previously, he held leadership roles at LTRIM Technologies, Catena Networks, Cadence Design Services, and Nortel Networks. Mr. Tremblay holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and several patents in advanced communication and power management.
Rob Graham | CFO
Rob Graham is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, and manufacturing operations for high-tech companies. He currently oversees administration, finance, tax, supply chain, and strategic planning at Inpho. His previous roles include CFO positions at OneChip Photonics and eBillme, and senior finance roles at Solace Systems Corporation, AssetMetrix Corporation, Optovation Corporation, Waterfall Networks, Crosskeys Systems Corporation, and Mitel Corporation.
Derek Nam | EVP Engineering, Photonics
Dr. Derek Nam, a photonic industry veteran with over 30 years of product development and product engineering for lasers, detectors, optical modules, and coherent digital optics. Previously, he held technical leadership roles at SDL, JDSU, Nanoconversion, Oclaro, Lumentum, and Infinera. Dr. Nam received B.S., M.S, and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
